(More customer reviews)I received my Rival ice cream maker as a Christmas present and it was love at first sight. Of course, being the dead of winter, I didn't use it much until the following Spring. However, by July, it began to over-heat before finishing a simple vanilla. I probably got six uses out of that sucker before it began having 'issues'. What started as mutual admiration ended in bitter recriminations.
